For some of us, it’s about seeing family members, like my father, experience the emotional and financial harm of scams. For others, it’s the drive to stand up for fairness, respect, and equality, ensuring that no one, especially those less tech-savvy, has to face exploitation simply because they aren’t familiar with the digital world.
As a group, we stand for empathy, empowerment, and justice. We believe that everyone deserves to engage with technology safely and confidently, without the constant fear of being scammed or taken advantage of. Our mission is to use our expertise in AI and technology to create solutions that protect people, restore their trust in digital communication, and ensure that everyone, regardless of their technical ability, is treated with dignity and respect.

Where Have We Been?
The foundation of Luna is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and justice—values that brought our team together and shaped our project. The idea emerged from a deeply personal experience when my father, who is not tech-savvy, was scammed and suffered both financial loss and emotional distress. Seeing him feel vulnerable and embarrassed in front of his own family deeply affected me, and I realized that this is not just his story—it is the story of millions of people who are targeted simply because they aren’t familiar with the complexities of digital communication.
In today’s society, technological advancements have opened doors to countless opportunities, but they have also created avenues for exploitation. Scam calls and phishing texts disproportionately affect the elderly and non-tech-savvy individuals, leaving them defenseless against sophisticated criminals. The rise in digital fraud highlights the injustice that occurs when people are taken advantage of in such a manner.
Our group came together, united by a desire to empathize with these victims and create a solution that not only protects them but also empowers them to engage with technology confidently. We aim to ensure that no one is left feeling powerless in the face of these digital
threats. Luna embodies our commitment to providing a safety net for vulnerable individuals and restoring justice by fighting back against scammers who seek to exploit others.
Where Are We Headed?
Our vision is to create a world where everyone, regardless of their technical ability, is protected from digital fraud. Through Luna, we are building an AI-powered solution that not only prevents scam communications but also empowers users to feel safe and in control. Luna will actively screen and process suspicious text messages and phone calls, identifying scams in real-time. When a scam is detected, Luna will take proactive action—such as cutting off the communication and alerting local authorities, ensuring that users are shielded from harm.
We see Luna as a protector of those who are often overlooked or exploited, bringing justice by preventing harm before it happens. Our ultimate goal is to create a future where technology serves as a tool of empowerment, not fear.
